REBRANDING REMY REILLY

Books

BOOKS

Remy Reilly wants her dream job. Years of working in burger joints and supermarkets during high school and college are finished. A week after graduation, Remy gets the opportunity of a lifetime when she interviews at Rolling Oaks Winery with its formidable matriarch Martha Keating.

All those years working pretty much eliminated romance from Remy's  life. She embraces it with a passion for old English romance novels and movies. When passion strikes at her new workplace, Remy's heart starts to challenge her head.

Will Remy win a heart along with a job?

As son of the enigmatic and successful owner of Rolling Oaks Winery, Bill Keating is used to being treated differently once people know who he is, so when he meets the new employee, he doesn't tell her. After all what's the harm as posing as a fellow employee? Bill lives a  quiet life with his thirteen-year-old daughter and doesnt know what to make of  Remy and her enthusiastic ambition or the unexpected way she makes him feel.

Rebranding Remy Reilly is a humorous journey through a young lady's serach for a job and romance.

Alicia Darwin Sorts It Out.jpg

Alicia Darwin seems to have it all: wealth, fame, an acting career she cherishes, and a boyfriend the tabloids approve. But a sudden breakup and a healthy dose of straight-talk convince Alicia that she needs to make some changes in her highly controlled world.

Alicia flees London for a break in the mountains of Northern California, where she finds herself sharing her alone time first with a bear and then with an only slightly more civilized creature - her rescuer, Jay Connors. A widower raising a teenage niece, Jay has created a life that is serene, if not blissful, in his small town. After meeting Alicia, he wonders if he ever experience serenity again.

Alicia Darwin Sorts It Out is a humorous romantic romp in the forgotten world of normal people, far from Miss Darwin's entitled lifestyle.

REVIEWS
FOR
ALICIA DARWIN SORTS IT OUT

A FUNNY & ROMANTIC PAGE TURNER

What a great read! I was captivated from the very beginning. Jackie Campbell writes of two people from very different worlds and how fate brings them together, if just for a while. A funny and romantic page turner that keeps you guessing to the end. Can’t wait for her next novel!

UPLIFTING ROM-COM

Selling the fact that a rich, famous actress could have problems like the rest of us is an interesting premise. I fell for it right away and was cheering for Alicia through the whole book. A very uplifting rom-com with humor everywhere.

FUNNY & WITTY

This is a witty, descriptive and fun book about a transcontinental relationship and the roadblocks associated with the travel and paparazzi in their lives.

A grand hotel set in a gorgeous mountain forest versus a life and career in New York

February 24, 2020

Jackie announces the setting of her second romance novel. Northern California's luscious and historic Sonoma wine country, where passion for wine takes a backseat only to the developing romance between Remy Reilly, an intern at Rolling Oaks Winery & Bill Keating, one of the owners. Remy has mistaken Bill for one of Rolling Oak's workers. He enjoys their easy relationship and is reluctant to admit who he really is, afraid that her attitude to him may change.  Bill manages to dig his hole deeper as they work together, until it all comes out.
